Babatunde Olatunji teaches the Farm/Garden crew drumming

The great Grammy winning drummer Babatunde taught drumming to those of us in the Farm/Garden crew that were interested with some private instructions for a few days  in 1989. More below...

My husband just bought a new fax machine which also has a scanner built in.  This has motivated me to scan into our computer some of my old photographs.  I thought perhaps other Esalen people would be interested in seeing some of them as they show a number of our friends from when we were living at Esalen from 1988 to 1990.

 I'll try a few now and see how it looks. If anyone would care to comment I'd like to hear...and of course we'd love to hear from anyone shown in the photos too.  I haven't done this before and have tried to make the images smaller but I'm rather stuck on 2nd one.  I'll have to update later if I can. Here are a few of the garden/farm crew both my husband and I (long before we were married) were in back then. 

we went on a day trip for our garden groups day out. "indians" i believe they called it. beautiful i say.
