This past week I spent exploring the coastline from LA all the way to Mt. Shasta. I did not post an affirmation, instead I affirmed my oneness with nature and immersed myself in the majestic coastal wilderness. It was beautiful to reconnect with nature, and of course I paid a visit to Esalen on my way through Big Sur.
This Week's Affirmation is: Nature never hurries. Atom by atom, little by little she achieves her work. ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
I always marvel at nature's way of seeming to do very little and yet leaving nothing undone. The streams take the path of least resistance while simultaneously carving canyons and nourishing all life. The redwoods grow slowly and with time become immense. Just by being, the plants create oxygen and homes for animals including us. Nature does not work quickly, but it is an opportunist. All living and dead are utilized. Every crevice no matter how small is a home. Whether it be under the bark of a decaying tree, on the service of a rock or through a crack in an asphalt road, nature presents itself.
Like nature I too shall evolve continuously and move in harmony with every opportunity for positive development.
