He was a man living in the fullness of his being.

And yes, like Currie, I wonder how different Esalen would be if Dick had lived many more years, if Dick were still alive and at Esalen

And I am grateful to have had a deep and full Esalen experience back in those days when Dick was still alive and Esalen was still following the dream.

I have a memory of Dick walking toward me on the gravel path in front of the office, smiling.

stunning entry today from Christine Price on the Dick Price celebration facebook page... to paraphrase merle haggard: "if we can make it open, aware and loving through november, everything's gonna be alright i know"

henry glenn – September 15, 2010 – 12:34pm

For the head's up about Chrissy's postings.  I was deeply moved.

Authenticity Heals....

Dorothy T – September 15, 2010 – 1:32pm

despite my recent grumpy old dude complaints about facebook/twitter, the dick price celebration page is wonderful. i enjoyed the Sascha DuBrul interview link weaving together the Icarus project, punk rock, Tomkins square, permaculture, and esalen/Dick Price...in other news, esalen scholar-in-residence Brother David Steindl-Rast was interviewed today @beyond awakening. There were serious technical interview glitches, but i think he has some iThou friends....Happy Halloween...spooky henry

henry glenn – October 31, 2010 – 2:24pm

Happy Halloween, mr. henry.  :-)

Michael – October 31, 2010 – 4:33pm

there are continuing wonderful new facebook entries, and today i read Barclay Erickson's powerful remembrance......"living a purposeful life" begins this evening and "returning to the source" starts a week from sunday. this is as big as esalen gets. Deep Prayers for Healing and Renewal

henry glenn – November 5, 2010 – 12:41pm

The main event starts in just a week. We will stay in touch with iThou. In the meantime, notice that you don't need to logon to Facebook or have a Facebook account to access Dick's FB page.

John Callahan – November 6, 2010 – 5:58am

Posted by DorothyT of the returning to source week at the Facebook page. Thank You. Most impressive was JohnC generating tummo yogic(tantric?) heat in his t-shirt while everyone else was bundled up shivering

henry glenn – November 30, 2010 – 4:35pm

Yes indeed! A sure sign of the Hidden Immam.

(Actually caused by a euphoric dip in the Big Creek swimming hole.)

John Callahan – December 1, 2010 – 2:56am

Dorothy, thank you for posting all those photos. They give a sense of what it might have felt like to have been present at the celebration and remembrance.

Tummo--inner heat. Funny, you guys.

Good shots of John, Dorothy Charles, Chris, Steven, etc.

It must have been an intense week.
