New Workshops 2010

5
loves

Finally all of the 2010 workshops are booked and up on Esalen's website and my own website. A great deal of my recent time and creative energy has gone into planning, writing, editing, and the like to get this all together.

For those curious, here are the workshops I am leading this year: 2010 Workshops & Retreats

Honoring Esalen's co-founder, Dick Price, I have two workshops that are unique and may never be offered again (perhaps in another 25 years):

Stepping In, Stepping Out

Following the Way, Returning to the Source

Also you might enjoy this short excellent article about Dick Price that Chris Price wrote for the new Esalen Catalog: Richard Price

from the Wild Big Sur,

Steven

P.S. Since I maintain my own website I many times miss the obvious missspeling's,; grmar/ adn pucuation>?"  linkk eras- etc.. So, should you notice any, I would appreciate any feedback sent to me via private message. Thanks!

Thanks for posting this information, Steve. And what a great tribute by Chris.

If I win the Lotto before the Fall, I will be there -- with bells on -- and not just "in spirit".

Really a great idea and a form of remembrance I am sure Dick would appreciate.

  Totally Committed

I give thanks for unknown blessings already on the way

The workshop with Chris Price, Dorothy Charles, and whoever else shows up should be interesting to say the least. I hope you win the Lotto!

Yes I'd love to attend something someday at one of your events; hope it happens this year.

(We're going to be doing a lot of brush-clearing in Marin County after all the rain this year.)
Michael – April 10, 2010 – 7:09am

Although I have already been leading some private contract workshops, this Sunday is the beginning of my public workshop season. I am both excited and a little anxious as is the case with the beginning of each new season. This is a milestone for each year and one of the ways I mark time and the unfolding of life. My work is so much a part of my life I appreciate being able to share my excitement for what I am blessed to be doing and feel supported by friends here.

Gratefully from the Big Sur...

You will have the best year ever, mr. Steven. You are a blessing to Esalen and iThou.

henry glenn – April 10, 2010 – 7:34am

I add my best wishes and wish I could be there too.

...to attend the Big Sur Wilderness Experience, or Stepping In, Stepping Out.

I would gladly stay in a sleeping bag (or even in a tree), for the life-changing experience!

Someday. Someday.

Plays well with others

Travel well on the path of your season Steven, and bring love wherever you go.  Walk with the forest angels, my friend.

Kristy Bliss – April 12, 2010 – 10:17pm

My favorite mail day for the past 35 years is the day the Esalen catalog is delivered, as it was today. It is as beautiful as any i remember. There was a page devoted to the 80th birthday years of Dick Price and Michael Murphy, including the wonderful tribute/remembrance from Chris Price and special mention of Steven Harper's 2 workshops honoring and celebrating Dick Price. There is also a weekend in November honoring Michael... ..my heart swells with admiration and gratitude

So my first workshop of the season is over... it went really well. For those that want to follow along here is a link that will take you to my workshop journal and more links to photos: Big Sur Wilderness Experience

Thanks again for all the kind support I feel.
