Each morning my grandfather and great-grandfather...would begin the day by doing a dance. The dance, they said, kept them young and showed their appreciation for life, in that it was also an offering. They called it the Dance of the Directions. Before speaking to anyone or taking a meal, these older people would dance. Sometimes they appeared like fluttering clothing moving in the breeze.
