that this beautiful rendition and the Canon, in general, brings tears to my eyes.
It reminds me of LIFE, and death, and happiness and sadness, all at once.
Looking out my window, I see a BEAUTIFUL evergreen tree, so full, and fat. I listen to this piece (Pachelbel's Canon) and watch that beautiful tree stretching it's "arms" (limbs) up in joy.
I hear the fluttering of the flute, and see birds fluttering outside.
I will take Tundra for a walk soon, and will carry this music in my head.

thank you.
I like what Antje blue wrote: "It reminds me of LIFE, and death, and happiness and sadness, all at once."
That must be why the Grofs included it in the Grof breathing tapes -- and coming right at that point of breakthrough into Light and Cosmic Joy in its fullest.
Totally Committed
I give thanks for unknown blessings already on the way
of people who do too many drugs. I knew him when he did LSD and she, in any other setting would have been classified as a nutter, plain and simple.
Everyone has a right to their own opinion! I tend to disagree with you, but that's just me.
Speaking of the Grofs, http://www.stanislavgrof.com/ .
And now back to Pachelbel. :)

I do agree Stan Grof is a cool centered conscious person who helps stuck people (who ask for it) get instucl (my take on things). I don't think I met his wife. (Unless in 1982 she looked like Marilyn Monroe, in which case I must say no more).
Ajna started to open for me at Esalen during this workshop with Grof. I'm not really smart enough to understand some of his books.
I am opposed to all drugs. Though I am a hippycrit. I am for all the Meditation forms I have ever done (or tried)...
Hi Zen Puppy and Rob!
Here is the Pachelbel Canon in "Ordinary People" (1980)*

Devon welcome back.
Michael: I use to move to this in Al Huang's Class at Esalen and in 1978 in my New Age Bookshop I played it constantly for months near the later half of 1978. It elevates me and makes me feel Spirit, sometimes.
iThou says Well Done and Godspeed
and welcome back, Devon.
