Wishing Albert A Great Adventure

6
loves

We (my family and I) recently made a journey from Big Sur to southern California where we got to have dinner with Albert. I can attest that Albert does indeed exist in more than the virtual world.

It was a send-off dinner of sorts. Ablert is making a big move (leaving California and heading out across these United States) and a bigger move in the direction of his life. While we are all always in some form of transition... I would like to wish you, Albert, a smooth transition, a good journey, and a great adventure in the road ahead. You are courageous. May you dance the dance of life that only you can dance.

Love to you my friend,

K, K, J, & S

P.S. Here is the same place some years back... Albert and I shrank and the kids stayed the same.

“May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome,
dangerous, leading to the most amazing view.
May your mountains rise into and above the clouds.
May your rivers flow without end,
meandering through pastoral valleys
tinkling with bells, past temples and castles
and poets towers into a dark primeval forest
where tigers belch and monkeys howl,
through miasmal and mysterious swamps
and down into a desert of red rock,
blue mesas, domes and pinnacles and grottos of endless stone,
and down again into a deep vast ancient unknown chasm
where bars of sunlight blaze on profiled cliffs,
where deer walk across the white sand beaches,
where storms come and go as lightning clangs upon the high crags,
where something strange and more beautiful and more full
of wonder than your deepest dreams waits for you --
beyond that next turning of the canyon walls”
~ by: E. Abbey ~

Albert,

I wish you BLESSINGS upon your paths ahead.
May your presence in it: take root…and blossom.

Note on above quote: my interpretation...
lonesome = in sacred solitude (a pilgrimage)
dangerous = beckoning your deepest longings, passions, courage

At this very hour, special agents have reported that the leader of the iThou tribe has safely arrived at his new communications outpost, where he will begin preparations for a new world order of interconnectedness. We can all practice the appropriate rites of celebration, such as burning sage, making symbolic sacrifices, and handcuffing managers.

John Callahan – August 4, 2009 – 5:27pm

Blessings and gratitude to you all... I am, as John has just said, arrived safely... and am so grateful for the ongoing love and support of you and our beautiful community...

Thank you thank you thank you...

I hear your voices
and words of kindness
and I am buoyed
by your love

I think you might need to change that California accent you picked up to something more appropriate to the region...

Best wishes to you!

Glad to hear Albert has safely come to ground.

May your new homespace be all you wish it to be.

Much love,

Donna

ps - I like John's notions of symbolically managing, handcuffing sacrifices, burning cele brations and rite-ing the sagebrush. Appropriately. Where needed.

  Totally Committed

I give thanks for unknown blessings already on the way

homespace... very cool, Donna... reminiscent of Robert A. Heinlein.

The slideway took Albert from the skyport to the door of his new homespace. The door shimmered away and he heard the kitchen-tender say, "Welcome home. Dinner is ready".

Wishing you health, happiness and prosperity in your new homespace, Albert.

A house-warming gift-plant for you.
