Great having you back, Rob!

I second the 'great'  to have you back. Looking at the pics now. You certainly have  an eye for beauty. Thanks for sharing.

Am looking forward to the Comic-Con videos, Rob.  I have a couple friends who went and had a blast!

Looking forward to your sand painting, too!

Michael – August 12, 2009 – 8:57am

it'll be awhile til I can get to viewing (comic con and other better stuff) and editing takes a long time but at least I have a program so there is hope.  I'm in some strange zone.  A bad cold or allergy or just too much sugar poisoning took it's toll; 24 hours of sleep; followed by peace village which I think is a strange amalgamation of other groups.  Then followed by pushing the body to the fun of waterslides and a lake whilst almost dizzy; perhaps summer is merely a time for ego to die or karma to be worked through; still there is a lot of fast interesting stuff happening and more music tonite.  The belly dancer a highlight for sure.  Perfection of movement and her outer appearance.  And a cool attitude and comfort with being looked at.  Calming yet exciting.

The dog no longer hurts my ears.  Many troubles trying to post here continues.  Michael I have a story of a gal who ate a popcicle across from me at an Indian restaurant in such a way that was it was the highlight of the con for me.  Yowzer.

General Report:

Enjoyed Jay Leno at his new time of 10:00 p.m. with Michael Moore tonite.  His new hairstyle is good.

Silver and Gold are up.

There was a fire close to where I live in the mountains yesterday (one person suspects people who live in the hills on public land).

Walked in the park today.  Joined a Gym and went yesterday.

Big event -- a benefit for someone who is highly regarded; Thurs. nite here where I live.

Drove a 2005 Ford Edge and really liked it a few years old with 43000 miles handled well...not enough space in back for me but almost bought it.   Also having a Realitor check on foreclosures for me but feel she is showing me the very worst of them, perhaps time to look elsewhere.

Went to hear Freddie Hernandez band (really good)  at Stillwater (at 1951 an address similar to my birthday)  met a gal who I haven't called yet who I danced with.

My last trip to Seattle all I did was sleep, buy and eat a ton of produce and go Peace Dancing and to my Meditation place.  Two weeks passed rather quickly.

Each day I listen to the one person who calls me who I call.  So called best friend moved further away (we haven't had much fun in a long time).  Others where I live are more open and friendly except two important people.  I am willing to leave but am willing to stay here unless the bizzare noise continues (there is more to life than music).  Really.  Sold some art that I bought.  Thankful.  Made someone a website but now they want to start over. I just added links to all my websites as now I instead of geocities host my own stuff.

Sorry not here at I-Thou Esalen much, still think of everyone and imagine who and how they are with no real clue (except Steve who I met).  Been sort of choosing life and doingness over electronic communication but still check in briefly regularly.  Have decided it is best to just blog or show images at  one "the latest"discussion/form place here.  Enjoying lots of films.  Saw Julia...was really touching.  (Remember to pray away the swine flu and, keep moving, laughing, dancing...more soon.

Oh yes and I have two youtube videos up at utubinol:

Goal this week: master the art of just hanging out.

Rob G – September 22, 2009 – 1:20am

Here's your daily "You can do it" encouragement, Rob! The gym, to the gym!  Remember the water drinking and stretching, my friend.

Michael – September 23, 2009 – 6:14am

I do plan to go to the gym today.

swam a little yesterday;  the workout as taught by the "personal trainer" (I did not sign up for it) was too intense and I could not walk well for 4-5 days;

how are you doing Michael?

I think it takes so much courage to share art.  It always reveals so much about the artist!  Thank you for sharing your work, buddy!

Michael – September 30, 2009 – 2:22pm

again thanks, swam and worked out two days ago a little and will do so today (Thurs.); change of seasons can be trying; some bliss in work play I do; lots of computer problems.  What are you up to Michael.

May universal love fill all your hearts.

Rob G – October 1, 2009 – 12:58am

Saw Bob Dylan at the WaMu event center in Seattle yesterday.  It was good.  Not a lot of dancing and the acoustics were, it was pointed out to me, not that great.  Many people standing.  He'll be in Portland in two days and Eugene, OR soon thereafter in case anyone dosn't know or wants to know about this.  Glad  I went.  Will look for smaller venues for my in person music experiences henceforth.  Missing the gym.  Quite alone here where I am staying (person at work).  Catching up.  On a computer that barely works...this is an adventure.  It's sunny and I feel happy and good.

Rob G – October 6, 2009 – 1:57pm

I enjoy reading the "Adventures of Ranger Rob"!  Hugs, Michael

Michael Hi how is it going (I could write to you on the side but it's easier here in case anyone else lurks in (they are truely welcome to).

Not much adventures today.  But I got upset about noise (they call it music) I drove away (first to a park with no parking --Lithia) then to my Gym (where I pay $40 ish a month except I hired a trainer (who looks like Albert but is Philipino, 26 years old, married with a pregnant wife) who is very nice and yet more strict than my Dad.  He gave me some exercises yesterday (I've gone 5 days in a row -- a breakthrough) and I did his exercise program today...well the 1/2 he taught me so far.  Plus I do a little swimming first and yoga.  He says swimming takes away muscle mass.  Have to research that but I plan to swim anyway always.  He doesn't appreciate that I know so much and do so little ( :) ).  I've heard that before.  Got one smile yesterday and two today.  He is a better trainer than another that had me do something that was painful for a week.   His didn't have side effects.  I think I have strong legs  (from bicycling from when I was young and from moving comic boxes around).   Told me not to make noise when efforting.  He said that when you do this exercise it burns calories when you stop.  I only ate sugar until about 7 p.m. tonite no wait I had stale bran flakes with milk and honey).  So I gotta fix that.

Nicely quiet there Sat. nite did the pool alone.  Last nite a friend invited me over for dinner with my other friends and it was ok...3 hours of fun...socializing -- something I don't consider myself good at.

Currently buying the ingredients for vegan pizza.  There is hope!

This was a pretty fun year.  I still scream at the TV (at Fox when I hear them accidentally) but Rachael Maddow and Keith Oberman cheer me up.  Thing is the far right and far left may have more in common than they know.

How about that almost legalizing grass in some States is that bizzare.

So what's up you all what are you doing to save the world this week.

Rob G – October 24, 2009 – 6:35pm

Hi Rob, iThou-Artist-in-Residence.  I really enjoy your blogs, buddy.  Thank you!  Congrats on the gym workouts!

I admit I was disappointed that grilik, sorilp, and the other new members were not extraterrestrials. :-(

Until today I have exercised regularly.  Twice with a trainer with two more coming up.  I am not eating less.

Thanks Michael for the kind words.  This video is dedicated to all the I-Thou participants.  Music will be added.

Videos exist.  Also many Halloween videos and pictures exist too I'd like to share.

You'd laugh my place is slanted different ways where I live.  Probably needs reinforcing.

Planning to go to Maui any suggestions on best places for 7-10 days to visit.  Before the end of Jan.

Blessings and love to all.

Cold and lite snow and slowness recently.
