Needing some Prayers
Hi everyone,
My uncle had a heart attack yesterday morning, and was rushed to the hospital where various procedures were taken to keep his heart pumping and his arteries open... He is in ICU right now and has been since yesterday. My mom is having a pretty hard time trying to be strong for her sister in law and the rest of the family. I am asking if anyone wishes, to say some prayers or hold thoughts or light a candle, whatever you'd like for my uncle and his family.
I also had to take my dog to the hospital yesterday because he is very sick and can barely move... We did some blood work and x-rays and the doctor thinks he might have pneumonia. He's just been laying in bed, having trouble breathing and not eating much. I could also use some prayers for him too.

Ask your dog doctor to make sure it's not swine flu. (just kidding)
That they get well really quickly. Have the vet check for lyme disease (yeah I am obsessed...) it can sometimes cause pneumonia in dogs. But they probably do/will check.
I lit a candle for your uncle & family & I hope he recovers very quickly.... It must be really frightening. I wish you lots of strength.

Thank you so much I appreciate every bit of each and every one of you and your thoughts.. I feel better already :-) i had to drive back up north for work today and I am having a really hard time being present at work... My sister said my dog actually had a appetite this morning and actually got a good nights sleep, so I think some of the medications are working. I'll ask about the lime disease, (and Swine flu did cross my mind lol) we saw the x-ray of his chest and his heart is swollen and really big. Not sure what causes that.. He's always had a BIG heart : )
I'm mostly worried about my mother. She has been through so much trauma the past few years, I feel like her heart was finally healing and opening a bit. This must be so shocking to her I just hope she doesn't close up again. I just want to be there to remind her to breathe...
and of course, remind myself as well....sigh...

My uncle is doing well and having a strong recovery at home.
However, we had to put down my dog on Saturday, his pneumonia was getting worse and the medications weren't working... It was really hard. I held him in my arms. I'm sure he's running around with my dad right now in his beautiful youth.
