Perfectly articulated by Marvin Gaye’s voice.
A heroic voice for change + hope.

And how do you do those great font colors (like purple and gold)? -- Nevermind, DON'T tell me, or i'll start using colored fonts too, and it's really your unique 'signature'. :) , so keep it a secret! (at least from me). Seriously! Okay, tell me. No, DON"T! Whatever you do, DON"T TELL ME!!! :)
My boyfriend, Richard, remembers the very first earth day, (1970 ?). He participated in that one, and continues to do so, and to remind me each year.

What was found on the beach clean-up (Stinson Beach), in honor of Earth Day—and, how long it
takes to decompose:
Aluminum Can = 80 to 200 years
Foam Cup = 50 years
Plastic Beverage Bottle = 450 years
Cigarette Butt = 5 years
Tin Can = 50 years
Plastic Canister = 20 to 30 years
Plastic Wrap = 25 years
Plastic 6-Pack Holder = 500 years
Monofilament Fishing Line = 600 years
Glass Bottle = 1 million years

It took me one hour to pick up and fill up a Kitchen Size Garbage Bag (13 gallons, yes-
biodegradable) full of garbage from the beach (filled with items listed above; and more so). The
Park Ranger (from National Park Service) kept it to view and to tally up. What was found…and,
how little time it took to fill up the bag were equally shocking. I could then hear Marvin Gaye’s
echoing voice: “Mercy Mercy Me”—and, it was none less than that piercing ache.
Here is something interesting I’d like to share with you all:
