Heart and Soul

Nothing special to write about this picture except that it is my absolute FAVORITE PICTURE OF ME AN MY BOYS. This is the only picture I have where both of them are smiling, real smiles. Life is good. They are my "heart and soul". I am blessed.

What a great looking family and what love I see. Gina, I can't believe you ran 20 miles. I was training for a marathon about 5 years ago (didn't happen) and I couldn't get past mile 11. What's your secret? Now days I do a lot of trail running here in Southern California. I love it and I think it's easier on my knees.

Kris,

Thank you for your kind remarks. I do love my sons with all my "heart and soul". They're fun and I enjoy being their mom.

As for the running, it's all relative. Anybody could do it if they want it bad enough. If you train for it you can do it, you just need a training program that works for you. Hey, I think trail running it much prettier and so much better for the body especially if your knees were giving you problems. You've got a good thing going.

How often do you get to Esalen?

How many years are between the boys Gina?
I bet you have a lot of baby pictures of the boys too-so nice of you to share .....

Angela,

There's 6.5 years between them. I was having too much fun with my oldest and wasn't ready to divide my time.

Steve,

I remember seeing picture of your boys from your trip to Alaska(?) looks like you have a lot of fun with them.

A former colleague of mine recently did a marathon where he ran for 26 hours. Crazy! I couldn't do anything for 26 hours not even lay in bed:-)

I think you could probably sit in the tubs at Esalen for 26 hours, hey, wait a minute, I think you already have.

Gina Guaraldi – November 15, 2007 – 8:14am

I probably really did that:-)
I could also stand a massage for 26 hours.
