Offering VII

loves

The tradition of making offerings, giveaways, and the like are numerous. Many indigenous cultures have some form of passing on gifts as the basis of community life. We are currently doing some form of this with words, music, and pictures. As we weave the fabric of this community it was thought that it might be interesting to initiate a thread of offerings that adds to the fabric of this creation.

This offering is being given to the iThou circle. The person that feels they want/need to receive this can contact me here at this entry and say something of why they are receiving this from the iThou circle (not personally from me).

The recipient can send me me a private message with their address and I will send this to them. You must be a member of iThou and no money is exchanged.

The only “obligation” for the person receiving an object is to find something that they would like to give to the iThou circle in the same manner and spirit of this “offering”.

I place into the circle a well worn copy of Accept this Gift: Selections from A Course in Miracles.

Namaste.

Mindy thank you for keeping this part of the site alive... I hope that someone that hasn't yet participated will jump into the Offering Circle and "accept the gift."

I would be honored to accept this gift from the iThou circle of a well worn copy of Accept this Gift: Selections from A Course in Miracles.

Thanks to everyone here for all that you give... I receive this for myself and all of us. Love, S

This offering is being sent to you on behalf of the circle, Steven.  Thank you for being the gracious recipient of this token of the energy that circulates among the members of our community.

I honor you as you honor us with your generous receiving.

Namaste.  Blessings.

I receved my gift from the iThou Offerings today at the Big Sur post office...

I opened the book to this passage:

"Gratitude goes hand in hand with love,

and where one is the other must be found."

Thanks to the  iThou community and KB

with love and gratitude.... S

...Loving Our Circle.

As I so often remind our group, according to my tradition there can be no gift without a recipient.  It is as gracious a blessing to receive as it is to give.
