I like what I’m seeing

loves

More and more these days I have noticed how people around me are exploring other ways to experience life in a deeper and more meaningful way.  I see how life is being created from a place of greater awareness and presence.  There is an undeniable commitment to personal growth and a desire to generate more goodness for the benefit of others.  I like what I am seeing… Even though the human race has shown an indubitable ability to repeat history in a clearly self destructive manner, such behavior has also endowed our experience with lessons and ways to access our true nature thus allowing for a different story to unfold before our eyes. Historically under the spell of power, greediness and fear we developed a peculiar logic, a state of mind ruled by incongruity and delusion.  Dwelling in this level of utter blindness we have come up with the most creative reasons/excuses to justify why we did what we did and do what we do.     It is strange to think that we have been able to fabricate reasons for the annihilation of life all around us.  People, ancient forests, water ways, air, wild life, and culture are but some of the casualties in that grand equation of madness.   There is a reason for Darfur and Sierra Leone; there is one for invading foreign lands in the name of freedom.  Strangely enough there is a reason for butchering rhinos and killing sea horses for the sake of absent libidos. There is a reason for the thousands missing “desaparecidos” in Argentina and Chile and for the ones vanished by atomic clouds.  There is a reason for not showing up, for stealing, for lying, for spiritual neglect, for cowardly silence and loathing.  The list is endless and so are the reasons.   Nevertheless there is another side of the story and an often overlooked side of history.  No matter how seemingly adverse our human drama may appear the brighter side of life always prevails. So it is in this side where we take our attention and turn it intently to all the goodness everywhere.  Suddenly tings start to change… and this view is something to behold. Within this perspective the focus moves away from the already obvious tribulations thus allowing an inherently creative force to expand towards more blissful directions.  One expanded force multiplied by others arranges itself into that brilliant equation we’ve been missing all along.   From this side I see people taking action which implies also taking responsibility for their actions; for every word, for every thought leaving their mouths and minds.  Not an easy task but unquestionably well worth the sweetest of sweats.    I also see more people shining where ever they are regardless of the circumstance.  It does require courage to manifest our beauty and talents and to give and share ourselves consciously and openly and with the complete alertness of our hearts.  Every one of our actions big or “small”, tangible or not affect all life around us… and we are finally getting it! Indeed not time for timid attempts.  No excuses…no particular reasons.  Just because we are here…breathing this life. I see how these actions are becoming louder than all the noise around…than the blast of bombs; than the cry of hunger; than the voice of fear.  Sometimes it only takes a smile to a stranger, a walk with a friend, a hug, a word, a moment of silence, an attentive ear.  It only takes heart and the outrageous beauty that we already are.  It takes not reserving ourselves from ourselves or the world! So much energy is being moved in all directions these days and so much transformation is occurring.   And I have to say it again and again I like what I am seeing…all this life and all this LOVE expanding everywhere and transforming everything.  What a sight…

Your perspective is wonderful Johanna. Thank you for sharing.

Reading what you write is like riding the undulations of a wave. Lovely. So few people can express themselves as deeply and with the clarity you have here. Thank you.

I am moved to Love with intention and proud to be a part of the quiet revolution.
