Dorothy T's photos
For those who remember her, here is a new photo of Tara and her family. Tara lived at Esalen in the late 90's/early 2000's (not sure of dates.) she was in kitchen & perhaps elsewhere. She originally came to join her then-love, Tommy McDonald, musician extraordinare. anyway, Tara was loved by many so decided to post this photo of she, Ken (her love), Ben (her older boy) and newly arrived Thomas (Sept 22 in Vermont!)
if anyone knows tara and would like her contact info, send me a private message and i will send to you.
blessings to all.

we had an unexpected big snow saturday morning. the weather has been in 70's, even 80 a day or two and then WHAM!
this 'fruit stand' is just down the road from me and i thought it was so funny that they were open.
i took this outside the home of some locals who lived in a very humble home overlooking this wonderful view. They loved their rooster (it's a rooster, right?!) :-)
i feel very grateful for having 're-visited' Ecuador today as i was preparing to give my offering.
the ripple effect of steven's experiment is much more than just the simple giving and receiving of the items themselves. i have so much rich stuff going on both surrounding the gift i am about to receive, and the one i have just offered.
thanks for such a grand experiment steven! and thanks albert, for your help tonight and always!
i took this just outside a room i slept in one night while in Ecuador. i LOVED standing in that spot. Feeling the contrast of the drab 'carport' opening onto this lovely nature area.
Ever since i started going to the 'Light A Candle' site, i have been reminded of this special place i visited in ecuador, where mostly locals, but also tourists, go light candles. This first photo is of some folks lighting, the second (to follow) is the picture that remains in my mind of this special place.
