Two very interesting conferences take place this weekend in California. The International Alchemy Conference is in L.A. and the Science and Non-Duality conference is in San Rafael. Esalen trustee and IONS president Marilyn Schlitz wil present in San Raphael. Frank Poletti, coordinator of esalen ctr is interviewed this week at "WIE unbound". good interview, he seems like a fine person, and i continue to be frustrated by the mystery of esalen ctr conferences. it seems like esalen is keeping secrets from itself. maybe there are good reasons for the opaqueness of the ctr website. maybe i need to quit whining...henry

got my new esalen catalog today. thrilled. did you see daniel's pictures? also noticed mike spino's return,"beyond jogging". in 1976 mike spino and mike murphy joined dick price for a week away from esalen at westerbeke in sonoma. my heroes. chris came friday to retrieve dick and inspected the choker/necklace that lew porter had given me. i nearly fainted...henry

first, appreciation to Albert and you core folks at  iThou. i haven't been to esalen for 32 years and enjoy keeping track of things through this site, the friends newsletter and catalog. my strong interest these days is Esalen ctr. and the further collaboration of mike murphy and jeff kripal. i understand  the conferences being "invitation only", but is there any way summaries could be expedited, or more information about what is going on? inquiring minds want to know.. best wishes ...henry
