I usually end up alone on July 4th (even in crowds of a commerical parade with military bombastic-ness). But happy July 4th -- just because.  Sorry about the tyrant (infant terrible) in the White House.

Since my heart operation a little over a year ago I have been doing fine going to the gym literally every day (mostly just cardio).  Soon will start working in ernest on my upper body.  And diet needs some attention.

Wondering how you all are. What is new. Condolences to Albert on your loss.

Have many decisions to make.  Many opportunities.  Ebay is quiet for me right now.

Thinking of Law of Attraction.  It helps when I read the words.  Pretty blank right now.

Doing cannibis to excess.  Hope to return to meditation as my only way.

Miss Esalen quite a bit.  No longer reader at my church of all religions.  Former Gal has a boyfriend back East who she is in love with though he is married and seeing other women as well.

Had quadruple bi-pass.  Allowed to drive and swim as of today.

Will expand the story.

Happened when I was making a Bernie Sanders Video.  Just fell over.  Unconscious.

Me.

Us. YOU.

I kind of would like to hear from all the participants here.  What have you been up to, how are you, what's new.

Me:

Maybe I haven't Meditated enough lately but today, this morning, got upset about money.

My fault, of course (if fault provided anything).  But what good are banks if they do not work with you.

I've started uploading random drawings (comics, SF and the New Age) they are mostly older drawings (decades) but a cool list gotta click on them; positive gentle feedback requested:

Happy New Year.

I wonder if you all know about and have seen the documentary on Yogananda.  To get a screening in your area go to gathr.  Find out where it is, commit to buying a ticket then when enough people show interest buy a ticket.  I saw it already in Mt. Shasta.  And will probably see it again soon.  It revealed a lot of stuff I did not know.

----

I was an extra in the film "Wild."  Did 11-14 hours for maybe 2 or 4 seconds of me probably occured.  :)

I have stories about it but I'm not sure I am allowed to talk about it.  Reese Witherspoon deserves an Academy award.

---

Feel happy, up and hopeful lately.

---

Miss Esalen.  If I sold $2500 worth of comics and stuff would try to visit there again asap.

---

I still go too many places alone.  But maybe soon I'll start going places with people.

A view.

Esalen is a certain movement or vibration in a certain direction.

It has been an inspiration and a focus for good things to come to be.  A million possibilities per moment  for each of the 1000's who attend and participate.  I enjoyed watching the process.  Each area had a certain function.  And of course there were many things I probably did not see or discover.

I shall be as vague as I can.

I went to an event Sat. and it was so bad I would have walked out if I hadn't forked over $20.00

One always hopes a beautiful woman will adopt one.  So that alone can be motivation.

During the year...(a mighty one at that) one has experienced spectrums of joy and bliss.

You see I can't really say what is in my heart -- what I truly feel to anyone.  One person will react.

Another would probably make it worse and so forth.

(Where I live and who I know).  So I hold it all in.  Til now.  Some trust with IThou and Esalen.  (From my perspective at least).

At and after Pranafest I felt pretty good.  Don't think I wrote about it.  But it was intense.  I jump around alot when I blog.  Just want to get it out.

My cat is giving me a lot of pleasure (my new cat) and can be a holy terror often too.

Working within financial limits is the current reality.

I grew up in the San Fernando Valley where I lived most of my life.  I left the area when I was 47 years old.  I don't miss it.

I drove down OUR block many times over the years.  Watching my Father's giant Palm tree reach up into the sky.  Higher than those in Beverly Hills.

He had a green thumb.  The Maple tree had grown very high as well and we, my sister and I, use to climb it and swing on the branches (the Palm tree replaced it).  My Sister passed away when she was 31.  (Thirty one being the number, allegedly, of life).  That was in 1985.  Coincidentally my Son was born that year. Also coincidentally my Father died the same year my Daughter was born (they never met on Earth).

I feel only love for Esalen and Michael Murphy and Richard Price and their son's (the ones I have met) the workshop leaders, the people I have met there, the people I have talked with on IThou, only love for Big Sur, for Earth for all the Kingdom's of Nature.  I feel thankful for you all.  If I could be a "Zero" at Esalen and work and live there I'd be happy (very happy for the beauty and joy of the place alone).  I know it would be challenging.  But I'd still love it.

On the road to home.  I plan loosely.  Went to comic con.  Always a push yourself to the limit experience.

Stood up and talked about myself with other's of early fandom and show organizers.  The whole room did.  Noticed I was impatient to do so.  Tried to share fun anecdotes in a hurried manner.  Lots of people kept showing up.  Owe Jackie a lot.

Not being organized I missed a lot.  At the same time accomplished most of the things I set out to.  Still traveling.  Home in 4-5 days.  Though I think I should be looking for a quiet new home.  Hopefully will see my daughter and grandkids tomorrow.

Took photos half-assed as usual.  Sirens outside in Laguna (where they filmed Savages).  I go here every year.

Old friends who call me family.  (Not sure I believe it from one of the two).

Pam back East and though we live apart my heart is with her and her suffering.

R.I.P. Bill G. Roll great teacher, Parapsychologist.  Met twice at Esalen in workshops there.  The first one was called "the Long Body."  Most profound experience of my life.  (Same 10 day period in 1989 with Al Huang the Tai Chi Master.)

I wrote about this in an article of my Peak experience at Esalen that year.

Bill Roll escaped his outer form on Jan. 9, 2012.  Just heard about it on Wikipedia.

He led Scientific creedence to Parapsychology. (1st draft).

Was just listening to Abraham Hicks and it inspired me to self examine aloud.  In her video on you tube she examines her human feelings after a car hits her unmanned car in a parking lot while grocery shopping.  And as Abraham talks you see how Ester (who hosts Abraham (not the Biblical one)) fluctuates between the choice of feeling good and letting her emotions take charge.  The batttle between ego and that which we truely are Spirit.  Between preaching something and living it (as I like to look at).

I allowed myself to be swept up in emotion again (which I do not like since it feels out of control and I am not use to being with emotions... as my gal who lives in Seattle allows -- what feels like to me excessive -- for her own good or my taste (which is not a factor); I control no other and intend only to always control myself.

Been reading a few pages of a great book by Sam Keen called Fire in the Belly.

Pages 220 to 223 have really hit home.

It begins:  "Marriage is: an aphrodisiac for the mature; a great yoga; a discipline of incarnate love; a task that stretches a man and a woman to the fullest; a drama inwhich a man and woman must gradually divest themselves of their archetypes and stereotypes and come to  love each other as perfectly flawed individuals."  (Cool eh).

More about me than I want to know (lol):
