Esalen holds a special place in me. I heard about the institute for the first time shortly before I came to study in the US in 1998. In summer 1999, 2000, and 2003, I was delighted to participate in week-long workshops repeatedly, exploring creative sides of myself such as singing, dancing, story-telling and drumming with fellow participants and associates from all over the world. Special thanks to Nina Wise who was amazingly funny and genuine to herself.
